It was dark inside the cave that was lying in the middle of Felarya, not too far away from the great tree. The most inhabitants of this world tried to avoid this place, it was dark and no newcomer knew what would expect him inside and those who where living for a longer time in Felarya, they knew the owner of the cave. One year ago two giantesses settled into the cave, made it their home, a black haired and a blonde one, but with the time one of both vanished and only the blonde giantess was living here.
The name of this person was Jora, she was a young woman and a year ago she was a human until an accident brought her to Felarya and turned her
well into a giantess. Now she was living here on her own, learning and practicing her hunting habits to become one of the greater hunters in this world
and this path wasn't always easy.
Jora opened her eyes and a deep yawn came out of her throat; she stretched out her arms and and a cool wind came through the cave. Every morning she wished to got her coffee back and even one year living on Felarya didn't help her to start up more efficient in the morning.
She smacked a little and went up, leaving the cave and closed her eyes for a moment when the sun was shining in a bright light. She wore her typical clothes, a short skirt and a bra, the only remains of her old clothes and it was like a wonder that they were still complete and not completely trash. She was walking slowly to the east where a small lake was, well for humans it was a bigger one, but for Jora it was only enough to wash her face and her body, a giantess had to be clean, she was a civilized person and so she didn't want to smell like an animal.
For a few moments her eyes wandered around and she looked around if she was able to see a human, a neko or something else but nobody was here; no surprise because the most people knew her and didn't come to this lake, he was too close to her residence and a human had most of the time no chance to escape Jora. A average human was only as big as her thumb and this was also one of many details while humans were a preferred food-source for the young giantess.
After her morning bath she walked back to her cave but before she reached the entry her stomach began to growl very loud, a short glance down to her belly and a deep sigh and she remembered; she had her last meal one day ago and it was time again for a hunt.
Jora didn't like to hunt, not because she felt bad to eat humans; no, but she knew that she was a little
clumsy and this fact ruined her hunts many times in the past and the imagination to go to bed without anything inside her stomach wasn't very nice. But in the end she had no choice and so Jora decided to visit an old friend before she would start her search for something to eat
and so she headed to the west; in direction of a small human village called Safe Harbor.
Safe Harbor was a very special place because it was one of the rare human villages that were safe in Felarya. The reason for this was gigantic, had two fists and a name: Jade. Jade was a giantess like Jora but unlike Jora she didn't eat any humans, no, she protected them and took care of their safety.
The first time many predators just laughed about her plan but after Jade proved that she was extremely strong and dangerous, the number of attacks on Safe Harbor became very small and only few hunters came closer to the small village; Jora was one of these and she knew that Jade wouldn't attack her because they were friends.
Of course Jora didn't hunt the inhabitants of Safe Harbor she didn't want to risk her best friend just because of a quick snack, and as she reached the border of the village the first humans recognized her and began to scream something
they alerted Jade, just to be safe enough Jora didn't change suddenly her mind. The older giantess appeared after a short while and a smile came over her lips.
Jade was one head bigger than Jora, her skin was a little more bronze from the heath of the Felaryan sun and she wore a bandana with a gem in the middle around her short brown hairs. She walked towards Jora and hugged the younger giantess heartily.
It's nice to see you Jora, what brings you here? she asked in a soft voice and gave her a smile which Jora replied.
Nothing special I just wanted to say hello before I try to catch something to eat
You know that I've a lot of fruits in my home? jade asked with a little hope inside her tone but she knew that Jora never would change so much that she would start to eat only fruits and a few rare animals like Jade did.
No, I still prefer humans
but thanks.
I still can't understand why do you eat humans
you were one of them too. Is there not a little mercy for them? What if you wouldn't turn into this size after you arrived here? Jade asked in a little more resigned tone.
I wouldn't be alive and no; I don't feel any mercy for my kind of prey. You know I just eat those humans who are here completely voluntary and who know that this world is dangerous. If they want to take that risk, it's their own problem. Jora replied and raised her shoulders.
I see
I can't change you yet
but maybe one day you will start to see the world from a different point. Where do you want to look for humans?
I think in the northern area, there is a small secret route where often humans are traveling around. Maybe I have a little more luck today.
You aren't angry if I don't wish you good luck, huh? Jade asked and smiled shortly before Jora shook her head and laughed and left the small village but not without the promise that she would come back later to talk a little with Jade. It was strange; even if they were completely different, they were best friends and Jora was quite sure they would ever be.
The secret route wasn't very secret. Jora often watched this place and many human mercenaries still believed that no predator would know about this way. The trees in this area were extremely big and Jora just had to kneel down and she wasn't very well visible, the only thing she needed a lot was patience and this was a problem, because Jora wasn't patient.
Many predators told her that patience was the key to success but Jora always rushed through everything, one of her biggest mistakes and it seemed that she never learned of her failures; not in this case. But today everything would change and so she waited, and waited, and waited
. and waited. Hours passed, Jora had real problems to avoid a loud growling of her stomach and her impatience grew more and more.
She just wanted to give up and look for another place, as she heard something in the far. Since Jora became bigger, her senses became also better and much more sensitive, she was able to recognize humans long time before they reached her and now it seemed like her senses would help her after all. A big grin came over her lips and she made herself a little smaller, her dinner would reach her in few moments.
Her eyes became narrow as she stared on the small path in front of her and then she could see the tiny person walking along. It was a single human
Jora blinked; a single human?
This was very unusual because the most time humans thought that they would be safer if they would walk around in big groups. Well, it wasn't Jora's problem and with this decision she jumped out of her hiding and grabbed the human with her right hand.
The human tried to dodge but she, it was a young woman, wasn't fast enough and so she was captured in the hard grip of Jora's fist who lifted her up in front of her face where she started to examine her prey.
The woman was maybe in the middle of her twentieth, she wore just simple cloths and she stared with surprise into the big eyes of Jora who began to smile.
Look what a nice tasty human I've caught. Tell me little human, why are you here in Felarya? Joras voice was friendly but she didn't hide that she was hungry, her stomach was growling again and the human was looking down as good as possible into the direction of her belly button. As Jora recognized her view she just smiled brighter
Don't worry, maybe you will visit this place soon enough
so what are you doing here?
Now the human lifted her view and stared into Joras face. I was looking for an old place ... she replied, extremely calm, Jora knew those humans, she wanted to behave cool but this wouldn't help her.
Old place
so you are an artifact hunter, huh? and as the woman nodded Jora smiled happy Great, this means I can show you a very interesting place
well without any artifacts but very warm and comfortable
my stomach!
Jora's tongue was licking over her lips, preparing them for her meal and then she opened her mouth, but before she lifted up the woman, she raised her hand. Maybe I can have some last words? she asked and now Jora was a little confused.
Last
words? she asked perplex and the human nodded.
Last words, my last will and all this before I'm going to become a part of your body. she explained still in this calm voice.
Erm
I don't know
mh
but it would be fair, wouldn't it? Okay, tell me what you want to tell me. Jora said and looked expecting at her.
The woman was now looking at her eyes and something strange happened in this moment. The human was tiny but Jora could swear that she was able to see her eye color and something deep inside those eyes. Everything around her became uninteresting and she just stared at the human that began to speak very slowly.
Now, let me down to the ground.
Jora thought about this stupid commando. Why the hell should she let her go? She was her food, she was here on her own risk, of course she wouldn't let her go
but otherwise, it sounded very logical that she had to leave the human down. She went down at her knees and let the human out of her grip.
The tiny woman patted away some dirt of her clothes and was still looking into Jora's eyes.
Now tell me your name.
Jora
my name is Jora ... the giantess replied in a tired voice, why the hell was she telling her name?
The human nodded. Very well Jora
you see
I've met many predators before in this world and most of them I just killed without hesitation because they tried to eat me. But you are different, you are
. interesting because I have never seen a predator like you. So I think it would be nice if you come with me, wouldn't it?
The friendly and soft tone of the woman was so amazing, she was so nice, what the hell was Jora thinking when she wanted to eat such a person? She was so merciful that she let her alive
of course she would come with her and Jora nodded.
The human began to smile with satisfaction on her face. very well
I have just to
well use something. It will become a little dark but when you awake everything will be fine, I promise. she explained and ans Jora just smiled she closed her eyes and just moments before the strange human cast her spell Jora woke up. She stared to the young woman with disbelief and then
. everything became dark suddenly.
The only thing that remembered to the giantess was a big stamp inside the dirt ground. And the human changed her direction
there were now more important things to do.
