Part 7 – Epilogue – A new predator





The sun was rising at the sky of Felarya. Three weeks were passed since a strange giantess crashed at the ground of Felarya. In the meanwhile the fact that there were now three giantesses, who were hunting, became quite normal. The local creatures and inhabitants began to attune to them and changed their survival tactics.

Marya and Joora lived together in the cave of the older giantess. Jora decided to stay at Maryas side because she didn’t want to be alone, the feeling and the knowledge that there always would be somebody who would help her and be there, was one of the important points for Jora .

She didn’t think very often about her old home, she wanted to looking forward, this was her new life and to be sad because of her lost past wouldn’t help her to survive here.
Of course, she lost everything she had but on the other hand she won something new; independently which she never dreamed off. A new life, a new power and the free choice to do whatever she wanted, nobody gave her orders and this was something absolutely new for her.


But there was also a piece of work for the future. She had to learn to hunt alone, how she could survive and she had also to improve her hunting skills. The first days it was always difficult; marya had often to support her or to share her prey with the younger giantess because Jora had still problems with her hunting techniques. The sneaking at the prey wasn’t the problem but to catch them and especially to hold them was the biggest problem.
Often her prey could escape even if she grabbed it and then there was also the fact that she still had a little mercy from time to time, especially when her stomach didn’t growl loud enough she often decided to let her prey escape … something which Marya didn’t see with a smile on her face.


And maybe this was the reason that she wanted to speak with Jora this night. Marya sat in front of her on the big fur and watcher her before she took a deep breath.

“Look Jora … you’re still a little … clumsy and too good natured. And so I’ve decided that you have to be a little on your own … no no no!
Don’t look at me like this young Lady! I won’t ban you from here, absolutely not but you need to make your own experience, if you always need my help, it won’t be good to you.
So I want that you explore the close country around this area … I’ll give you a route you’ll walk along. You’ll need maybe a week for this all and in this time I hope you’ll learn more than I could teach you with words and examples, do you understand?” she asked softly.

Jora took a grim and she felt how the tears were filling her eyes. She didn’t want to go away, even if it was for only a week. “But … what if I’ll be attacked … or something.” she asked trembling.

“Then you’ll defend yourself. You’re very powerful, you have big muscles and the most creatures know this. But you have to learn to be on your own … or you’ll regret it one day that you were always dependent on me … and believe me, I wouldn’t let you make you this journey if I wouldn’t know that you’ll make it very good.” she smiled a little.

Jora didn’t look amazed but maybe Marya was right, like all the time. She had to learn to be more independent than now. She nodded a little and mumbled. “Kay …”


And so the decision was fallen, she would start her journey tomorrow after the morning hunt. With a full stomach she would begin her route and walking through the country.
Marya gave her some special checkpoints she should visit but she didn’t say why exactly. As Jora asked how Marya would control that she was there she only smiled and told her, she would know it.
And so a young, shy giantess began to walk through the big world of Felarya. And she didn’t know what she had to await … and maybe this was better for the moment.
