Part I – A good advice

It was silent this morning on Felarya. The birds were flying away from the harpies, the animals were fleeing from the smaller local predators and the humans and nekos, well they were running this morning too. The woman was running for her life, she ran as fast as possible, the ground was trembling under her feet and she didn’t look over her shoulder.
Her brown hair was falling around her back and she pressed the lips on each other, only a last run, a last using of her powers and she could be safe! She saw the bushes right in front of her but she could also feel the predator.
“STOP! STOOOP!” a loud voice shouted behind her and she knew there was only one chance, risking everything or dying for sure, the decision wasn’t very hard. With all her power she started a last sprint and then she jumped forward, her body was leaned forward and for a few seconds she could feel how something nearly touched her feet but she made it!
She finally made it! She felt on the stomach but she was in the safety of the thicker and narrow bushes of the jungle.
Behind her she could suddenly hear a loud crush, the whole earth was now shaking and she felt to the ground, but she was safe, no predator could follow her now, not in this size. She ran deeper into the safety of the bushes and behind her she could hear the loud cursing.

“DAMN! DAMN! DAAAAMN! Jora shouted as loud as possible and rubbed her dirty belly. She tried to jump behind the fleeing human but it was useless, like many times before.
But this time she made nearly everything in the right way! Like every time she sneaked close enough to her prey but unfortunately the human turned around. Why the hell she turned around? This time Jora had her stomach under control, no gurgling, no growling but although she turned around and both stared at each other for a felt eternity. Joras big blue eyes were watching the human and the human was looking at Jora, both didn’t really understand that the other knew that she recognized her.
At least the human was a little faster and ran away. Jora was still surprised because the human detected her and now she had to follow her.
First she thought it would be no problem; a fleeing human was on this short distance usually no problem but this woman was very agile and had good reflexes, she ran from one side to the other, suddenly went straight into another direction and finally she escaped her, finally she failed again and finally she was still hungry. Additional to these very familiar feelings, her belly was hurting because of the impact.
As she stroke over her stomach began to growl and a sigh came over her lips. Why the hell couldn’t she be as good as Marya in her way of hunting?
How much she spent some time with Marya outside the cave in the jungles and watched her how she showed her to catch humans, how to sneak closer to them and the final movements to catch a human during a run?
It was useless, she always begged Marya to show her some moves and hints again but even Marya, who was always happy to teach her something new, was now annoyed if she asked the older giantess for help.

She was wandering through the jungle but there wasn’t any sign of humans or nekos. Just the rising sun was burning down at her, the air was flickering and it was extremely hot this day. She didn’t exactly know why her body was still so sensitive to the heat.
She lived here now since a few months and she was still sweating like she was in a sauna. She stopped and decided to make a break and sat down at the ground, wiping over her forehead and closing her eyes. Months … and she couldn’t still hunt like a real predator. She was a shame for every giantess in this world … well okay there were not very much but although she was a shame!

She took a deep sigh and just wanted to hang down her head as she heard something behind her. “Still trying to hunt?” a familiar voice asked and as she turned around a short haired giantess smiled to her, the headband was wet from her sweat and the jade-stone in the middle of the bandana was reflecting the sunlight.
Jora was smiling at her and waved one hand. “Hello Jade … yes I’m still trying to hunt.”
She explained but then the smile vanished and she sighed. “But I’m acting like an idiot … all the time I’m close to catch my prey I’m making mistakes and all this. But I know you don’t want to hear all this …” she added but Jade shook her head. “It’s okay … I can’t always be the bad woman and I can understand you, I had the same problems as I was younger and still learnt how to hunt.”.
Now Jora looked curious to the older giantess who was standing in front of her and went down on two knees to be on the same size than the sitting Jora. “You ate humans in the past?” Jora asked now confused.

Jade smiled first then she laughed amused and nodded. “Yes, I ate humans in my past … I wasn’t the same person like I’m now, there happened some events which led me decide not to eat anymore humans but before this day I was a hunter like you and Marya.” She explained patiently and Jora was now examining her gently. “What happened to you?” Jora asked now carefully, she knew that this maybe wasn’t a easy subject and she often told with other people about such subjects as she was still a human before.
But Jade only shook her head. “Not yet Jora, not yet. I don’t want to think about it, especially not after somebody arrived on Felarya I’m knowing a little better.” Now Jora looked a little disappointed but she nodded.
“It’s okay … but mh … can you give me maybe a good advice how I can become better in hunting? Just because I’m curious … you know?” Jora asked and smiled sweetly.  Jade sighed but smiled.
“I don’t think that I could teach you anything, it’s been too long ago, but as I was at your size I went away from everything that was familiar and made a little journey. Maybe you should think about it.”

And just in this moment Jora blinked and a thin smile came over her lips. She began to remember, she had this journey started a few months before but then she had to abort it.
Every moment she thought about everything became more clear; the travelling to the big tree, the suddenly appearance of these humans who took her with them and wanted to use her … the moment when she escaped from them and stood alone in the middle of a city, which was the moment were she lost the first time the control over her body because of all the humans and then she finally woke up at Maryas cave.
She forgot this journey very quick because with these days she only thought about the bad moments of it.

But now she knew what she would do and she was glancing at Jade, hugging her with all her power and smiled to her.
“Thank you Jade, you were a great help! See you later!” she said happily to the older giantess who was staring after the running Jora and for a few moments she just kneed there and blinked.
“Well erm … see you … and … no problem …” she mumbled but Jora was already out of her sight. Now the older giantess smiled and stood up, clapping the dirt from her shorts and looking into the far.
Whatever the young giantess had suddenly in her mind, Jade was the one who could her help and maybe a little time away from this bully Marya would be good for her. And with these imaginations she turned around, walking into the direction of some of her favorite fruit-trees, she was hungry and she hoped that Nina wasn’t close to her.

In all her delight about the new plans that were growing in her mind, Jora forgot that she usually was hungry without food but she just wanted to tell Marya about her new idea.
She would be proud of her that she had this thought on her own. She ran as fast as possible, crushed nearby two slug girls under her bare feet and passed two humans that she didn’t see in her hurry.
She just wanted to reach the big cave and after arriving in front of her home, she took a deep breath and shouted inside.
“Maryaaa! Come here! It’s important!” she said loudly and a few minutes later the earth was trembling a little as a dizzy giantess ran out of the cave with a panic look. “What? What happened!?” she asked nervous and looked around but as she saw the smiling Jora she raised an eyebrow.
“Why the hell are you shouting like a horde of nagas who want to rampage us is here?” she asked and now she knew that there wasn’t any threat, she yawned and stretched out her arms. The long, black hair felt over her shoulder down at her belly which was now stroked by Maryas hand. She was just wearing her short skirt and her bra.

“I’m sorry Marya but I wanted to tell you that I’ve made a decision.” Jora said and nodded heavily. Marya rubbed her eyes and blinked to her. “At this time? But okay … what kind of decision is it?” Jora took a deep breath, looked awhile around but then she nodded, like to herself.
“I want to continue my journey you ordered me a few months ago, you remember? I had to abort it and now I want to finish it.” she explained.
Marya wasn’t looked very amazed, she was just blinking again. “And this decision you made, when? While you were hunting?” she asked a little in disbelief but Jora nodded. First she wanted to mention Jade’s advice but she knew that this name wasn’t good in the area of Marya.
They didn’t like each other very much and if Marya would hear that Jora would go away because of the advice of Jade … well hell would be a little north pole against this. So she just smiled a little and nodded. “Yes … I thought about it … a few days ago and well, now I really want to do it, maybe I can learn a little more if I’m a little longer on my own, don’t you agree?"

First she thought Marya would absolutely disagree and tell her that she had to stay, but for Joras surprise the older giantess was nodding.
“Yeahh I think you’re right. I can’t teach you anymore and like I know you were on your way to your last goal, weren’t you? Vivians home area?” Marya asked her and Jora nodded only.
“Well then you should just follow the way to north and then you’ll reach her very soon. But please … for my sake … be careful, okay? I don’t want to fear again about you because of some crazy humans.”
And with these words and a slim smile she was hugging Jora who was now a little confused. She thought she would talk even more to convince Marya from her plans but the giantess seemed support this, maybe because the origin journey was her goal.

Finally she had decided. She would leave the caves before midday and visiting these waterfalls, where Viviane was living. The naga wasn’t very important for her, she just wanted to be on her own, she wanted to learn from the necessary and she wanted to become a better hunter, she wanted to catch more humans and she wanted only be one; successful.
A few hours later she said goodbye to Marya for a little time. Marya was smiling to her, hugging the younger giantess and wishing her everything good. As she watched Jora leaving the area around the cave she sighed a little.
On the one hand she was happy that Jora didn’t forget her journey and wanted to complete it. On the other hand she began already to miss the blonde giantess. It wasn’t a very easy life, Marya thought and then looked down to her growling stomach. Time for a little hunt.

And so Jora was on her way to north and her new goal; the great waterfalls and her famous inhabitant, Vivian.
